Pharmacy At The Black Eagle 

The pharmacy U Černého orla (The Black Eagle), located in Vidnava, is the oldest functioning pharmacy in the Jeseník region. It is housed on the ground floor of a Neo-Renaissance building on the square in the urban conservation area in Vidnava. On the face of Hygie. The pharmacy was established in 1769 and moved to its present premises in 1820. The present - day interior incorporates the original Art Nouveau racks and jars, manufactured around the year 1910. It is the only Art Nouveau pharmacy in operation in the Czech Republic.

The pharmacy has gained a certificate and registration for

• the sale and issue of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment for the public and providers of non-residential medical care
• the preparation of individually-produce pharmaceuticals, including eye drops

The range of goods includes also the folowing:

• medicinal teas
• dry milk preparations for baby food
• medicinal cosmetics for children
• medicinal cosmetics for teenagers and adults
• basic veterinary medical preparations and homeopathic
• remedies medicinal mineral waters
• health footwear
• repellents and suntan preparations

In the event that requested medicinal preparations and pharmaceuticals are not in stock, the pharmacy, in co-operation with wholesale distributors, is able to provide them by the morning of the following day at the latest.
Working and consulting activites are performed by the pharmacy´s qualified doctors.

Despite its historic uniqueness, the pharmacy and its facilities meet contemporary requirements for the preparation, control, and sale of pharmaceuticals.
